I love and agree with your assessment of "boring lace" and "bone-killer cotton" 
I like the feminine aspect of lace but only visually and as a decoration. If there is a lot of lace in the panties it gets in the way of my enjoyment (caressing the silky fabric).

In Australia it's the same. Mostly tiny satin panties I can't get any cock coverage or boring lace briefs or boner-killer cotton. Have to order from the US ... the satin panty capital!
